| My name is Rosemary Anne Cameron.
I was born in Scotland and currently live in Dunfermline.
My aim as an artist is to reflect the beauty of God's creation in my paintings.
I paint in oils, which allows me to blend colours on the canvas to achieve the effects I want,
and I paint on canvas, canvas board or hardboard, depending on the subject matter of the painting. I grew up in Oban on the west coast of Scotland and have frequently visited Lochaber, where many of my paintings are inspired. (If you are looking for self-catering holiday accommodation in the Fort William area I can recommend Glencaig Cottage, Spean Bridge.) I also have connections with John O' Groats and Tiree, both of which have similar, more agricultural, landscapes - a contrast to the wilder, less cultivated west coast. I am interested in the patterns and contrasts of colour created by agriculture on the landscape and those occuring naturally, as in sunsets. (See here for examples.)
I also do web design - see here for details.
